چکیده

Slicing-Fitting-Linking (SFL) is a fast triangulation technique that guarantees building a closed mesh with consistent normals. The proposed technique can be used with diierent surface reconstruction cues such as laser scanner, stereo, SFS, and CT/MRI. The output of SFL can be in the form of STL les that are suitable for most rapid prototyping machines. The technique has three tasks. The rst task is to slice the 3D data points into 2D cross sections parallel to each other. The second task is to t a curve to the data points of each cross section. The third task is to link the tted curves to form the mesh. A detailed description of the algorithm is presented in this paper

Program slicing spectrum-based software fault localization

Spectrum-based fault localization technique mainly utilizes testing coverage information to calculate the suspiciousness of each program element to find the faulty element. However, this technique does not fully take consideration of dependences between program elements , thus its capacity for efficient fault localization is limited. This paper combines program slicing with program spectrum tec...

Gauge fixing in Causal Dynamical Triangulations

We relax the definition of the Ambjørn-Loll causal dynamical triangulation model in 1 + 1 dimensions to allow for a varying lapse. We show that, as long as the spatially averaged lapse is constant in time, the physical observables are unchanged in the continuum limit. This supports the claim that the time slicing of the model is the result of a gauge fixing, rather than a physical preferred tim...

Regression Model Fitting With Quadratic Term Leads to Different Conclusion in Economic Analysis of Washington State Smoking Ban [Response to Letter]

Ma and McClintock reiterate our observation that the TRS data during this time do not follow a linear trend — with an obvious upturn in 2006 through 2007 and a smaller downturn in 2002 through 2003 — and question our use of a linear model to describe these data. In our analyses, we examined a segmented regression approach (3) to address this nonlinearity, using a theoretical break point at 2006...

Optimization without Minimization Search: Constraint Satisfaction by Orthogonal Projection with Applications to Multiview Triangulation

We present an alternative approach to what we call the “standard optimization”, which minimizes a cost function by searching a parameter space. Instead, our approach “projects” in the joint observation space onto the manifold defined by the “consistency constraint”, which demands that any minimal subset of observations produce the same result. This approach avoids many difficulties encountered ...

Computation of WCET using Program Slicing and Real-Time Model-Checking

We address the problem of computing accurate Worst-Case Execution Time (WCET) on pipelined architectures with caches. We propose a fully automatic and modular methodology based on program slicing and real-time modelchecking. We have implemented our methodology and applied it to standard benchmarks. To further validate the approach, we also compare our results to the real execution times of the ...
